Small fence customer: Fence types and
types
The
number of fence types and associated fence types known today is large. Not
without reason: after all, fences have been with us as boundary marking,
fencing and a protective wall since time immemorial. In every corner of the
world, residents have built fences from the materials available to them, their
diversity is immense. In this guide, we therefore restrict ourselves to types
of fence that have proven themselves in our latitudes. With the fence New Westminster you
can find the best solutions.
Overview of common fence types and
types
Fences
can be subdivided in different ways for an overview of the types and types of
fences. For example according to their nature in fences made of materials such
as wood, metal and plastic, whereby the materials can be used alone or in
combination according to their typical structure in fences such as picket
fence, wrought iron fence, chain link fence or according to their intended use
in fences such as garden fences, privacy fences, coupling fences or fencing.
We
have arranged our subsequent fence customer according to the usual fence
materials, whereby one or the other type of fence can also be erected from
different materials and material combinations so that it appears several times.
Typical wooden fence:
Wood
is a natural product. A fence made of it is subject to natural rotting, which
can be delayed with suitable wood protection measures. The wood fence types known
in this country include the
Hunters
fence also called scissor fence or cross fence; about 80 centimetres high;
fence slats are pointed at the top and two slats are fixed next to each other
like Xe on two crossbeams.
Wicker
fence, there are vertical and horizontal wicker fences, willow branches that
are braided between the fence slats are usually used as the weaving material.
Picket
fence crossbars reinforced with wooden slats between fence posts. Parquet fence
built like a picket fence, but instead of the slats, stakes are used that are
not rectangular in cross-section like slats but square or round.
Typical plastic fence:
Fence
made of plastic are identical to those made of wood or metal. They bring the
advantages of plastic into the fence: they are more durable and weather proof
than wooden and lighter than metal components. Cleaning and maintenance of a
plastic fence can be done with little effort. The composite material WPC is
particularly practical as a fence construction material and has also proven
itself as a terrace floor. Large clear plastic panes or window plastic can even
be installed in fences, for example as a special windbreak fence around a
terrace. Common plastic fence types are:

Typical metal fence:
Metal
as a material has a long tradition in fences. The forged iron fence is
considered a classic among metal fences. It testifies to the artistic handwork
of the blacksmith's craft. However, iron is susceptible to corrosion and
therefore requires appropriate rust protection, which must be applied
regularly. The wire mesh fence made of corrosion-protected wire mesh is no less
famous, but much simpler in appearance. As an alternative to the metal iron,
the light metal aluminium is used today as a material for building fences. Aluminium
does not rust and is easy to work with. Steel also has the makings of a fence
construction material, galvanized or powder-coated it is adequately protected
against corrosion.
